The Event
The Apollo Theatre, the Harlem Film Festival and Toots Crackin Productions are joining together to make an evening to remember. Mercedes Ellington directs a tribute program with some of the best tap dancers in the world, with music provided by Jazzberry Jam!. Featured is BEEN RICH ALL MY LIFE, a delightful new film that gives us the rare opportunity to see history through the eyes of five of the last surviving chorus dancers of Harlem’s golden age. The evening lets us honor their legacy and that of their peers, and preserve it for future generations.

Tickets
Tickets are $30 and $18, $10 for senior, child and student with ID, plus a $2.00 facility restoration fee. Tickets may be purchased at the Apollo Theater Box Office at 253 W. 125th Street in New York City (tel: 212-531-5305) or through Ticketmaster, www.ticketmaster.com (212-307-7171).

VIP Tickets
For VIP tickets, call 212-252-2778. Each tax deductible, $125 ticket includes VIP seating, complimentary champagne and the gala reception. Proceeds benefit "Been Rich All My Life" and the National Visionary Leadership Project, an organization which seeks to ensure that the wisdom of our country's extraordinary African American elders is preserved by and passed on to the young people who will lead us tomorrow.
